Same-day scanning: how we do it
Post arrives at Carrier House on Gas Lane throughout the morning. Each item is logged against the customer, opened under CCTV, and queued for scanning.
Priority for Office and Headquarters plans
Office and Headquarters plans are prioritised in the scan queue. By early afternoon, most items are in the customer's dashboard with a full PDF preview.
When we flag something urgent
If something is time-sensitive — HMRC, court papers, a parcel notice — our mailroom assistant Homer flags it automatically so you see it at the top of your inbox. Sensitive items such as PIN mail are held for secure handling instead of being published to the ordinary inbox.
